Well if we’re going to start this thing, lets start off with a bang! Copelands is located in Broken Arrow, on 71st Street (or W. Kenosha St). It’s long name is Copeland Spirit of New Orleans which gives a hint at the type of food they serve. Because Danny loves a good steak, Copelands has quickly become his new favorite restaurant for a good (although pricey) steak. I, on the other hand, love pasta so this place works great for us, they have a fabulous shrimp and tasso pasta that is to die for. The portions are moderate (not too big and not too small) and the flavor is out of this world (not for the wimpy or those lacking working taste buds). It’s a fairly large building so your not stuffed in there like sardines and it’s a great place for an anniversary dinner or first date (meaning it’s dark and uses real cloth napkins so you’d better dress up a bit!). I will say too, if you need a good place to have a stout drink, try Copelands hurricane. It may only cost 6.99 but I’m pretty sure they use at least 20 bucks worth of liquor in that thing! This is probably not the place to take kids if you can help it, but they do have a kids menu. We’ve only been there for dinner but it looks as though they have a pretty decent Sunday Brunch menu, I’m sure we’ll be doing that sometime and will fill you in!
